OUTPUT CONTROL

1. CYCLING

After manufacturing, all temperature sensors go to cycling chambers where they undergo 7 up to 10 temperature cycles from -10°C to 120°C depending on the sensor type. This is called the burn-in (or aging) process which simulates the load on the sensor in the application to detect critical manufacturing defects.

2. INITIAL CALIBRATION

This is followed by measuring the sensor at 0 °C by immersing it to crushed ice or at room temperature to check its functionality. Each sensor is compared with a reference sensor that has a direct link to the Czech Metrology Institute (CMI).

3. FINAL OUTPUT CONTROL

The last step is the final check to verify that there is no short circuit or moisture penetration into the sensor housing. This is done by measuring the insulation resistance between the sensor and the outer sensor housing. The final output check process determines whether the sensor meets the parameters we guarantee as a manufacturer.
